Overview
Two quirky, cynical teenaged girls try to figure out what to do with their lives after high school graduation. After they play a prank on an eccentric, middle aged record collector, one of them befriends him, which causes a rift in the girls' friendship.

Ghost world, indeed—hadn't seen this since 2001 (when I watched it three times in quick succession), and the sight of Enid and Becky browsing the aisles of "Masterpiece Video" abruptly made me realize how much the world has changed in what seems to me like the blink of an eye.
